Dr. Joos Meyer is an ophthalmology trainee and co-founder of One Right Eye, a project focused on enhancing patient education with innovative digital tools. He is an accredited ophthalmology trainee with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) and holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, as well as First Class Honours in Medical Sciences, from the University of Western Australia.
In addition to his work with One Right Eye, Dr. Meyer is actively involved in various professional organisations. He serves on the board of the John Fawcett Foundation, which works on sight restoration and blindness prevention in Indonesia, and is an advisory panel member for the Perth Eye Foundation, contributing to sustainable eye care solutions in Western Australia.

A/Prof Elaine Chong is the co-founder of One Right Eye. She is mum to 2 cheeky girls and understands that abstract concepts are best explained through images.
A/Prof Chong underwent double sub-specialty fellowship training following Ophthalmology training and is Head of Ophthalmology at Royal Melbourne Hospital. She also works at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital as a consultant ophthalmologist in both the corneal and medical retinal units. She was awarded the Gold Medal for Excellence (K. G. Howsam Medal) in the Royal Australia New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) advanced clinical examination. This single medal is awarded to the top candidate in the final exit examinations across Australia & New Zealand.
A/Prof Chong has received various international awards for her work in corneal & retinal research, with her peer-reviewed work featured and published internationally. She is passionate about improving eye health, teaching, pursuing sight-saving research, and empowering patients through education.
